We provide trainings on various topics, including new leads sources, understanding business valuations, and more.
We will train you on understanding the psychology of your buyer, how to best match them and help them through the entire award process.
The opportunity to enroll in weekly coaching with a small group of peers. This coaching is extremely effective because you are not only learning from the coach, who is an experienced consultant, but also from the group. There is a lot of value in hearing how others speak to clients, operate their business and what they have had success with.
In the mentoring program, you are matched with another consultant that has excelled in the area you are looking to develop. The program lasts for three months and you build a relationship with your mentor. We encourage co-brokering through the mentor program because it benefits both parties and allows the mentee to see first-hand how a seasoned consultant handles their client.
These group discussions are excellent opportunities to discuss franchises that are doing well, techniques that are effective, how to handle objections with certain quality franchises, new lead sources, and to meet your fellow brokers.
We record all of our trainings. This is a HUGE benefit. When you need information fast, it’s at your fingertips. We retain a relatively small percentage of what we learn. What stays with us longest are the trainings that we have heard repeatedly. With this feature of the Association, you can access franchisors presentations right before your call with a client so that you are fresh and current with the information you are giving. You can also review our legal, sales and industry trainings.
Don’t just say you are a consultant or broker, become certified and prove it. Our certification track is very effective and helps our consultants to think outside the box, set up their business to support multiple revenue streams, get group support and receive the hands-on training to give you a strong competitive advantage.
We invite our Franchisors to present to our consultants 3-4 times a week. Since the calls are recorded, if you miss a training, you can still access the presentation on their FBA profile. These are excellent and highly valuable calls! We give the franchisors a great guideline for presenting which covers all the pertinent information that consultants want to know. We learn so much and get excited about our brands during these calls. They are very informative and fun to attend.
We have commission contracts with over 200 franchise concepts. We are growing at approximately 25 franchises a month, and are always expanding our franchise offerings. We allow you to use our agreements, but do not take a percentage on the sales you make. When you are closing deals regularly, the percentage that you give to your network can be quite substantial. We also allow business opportunities and other unique low cost concepts into the Association to make sure you are able to offer your prospects a wide variety of options. This helps you with your low budget clients. We see this frequently, and through our networks we don’t have the ability to service that type of client, through the FBA you can fill in that gap.
We have over 300 franchisors that work with brokers listed on the site. If they are listed as working with brokers but without an FBA contract, you will need to sign an individual agreement with them. We allow any franchisor that works with broker and pays a commission on the site. We do however tend to focus on a select group of franchisors that really stand out and do the best job.
Learn how to read an FDD, how to analyze the financial specs of a franchise, how to collect data on a concept and truly investigate them BEFORE you present them to your client. Through the networks you will be given a list of pre approved franchises. They do the analysis on the concepts so you don’t learn how to do it. By taking this approach, you become more knowledgeable and gain a better understanding of what you are showing to your clients. Learn how to check the SBA failure rates, how to collect data on expenses and calculate estimated earnings.
This is an area where we are very strong. We provide EXCELLENT tools to help your client do their research. Our goal is to create educated clients. We do that by giving them tools that they don’t even know they need until after you present them and they use them, including break-even analysis, questions to ask franchisors and franchisees of the system, Discovery Day tools, and more.
We provide an opportunity to leave anonymous reviews about a franchise. We use this tool to help brokers know where certain franchisors are falling short or going above and beyond. We also use it to help other consultants to know what to look out for, equipping them with knowledge of how a franchisor validates, and how to handle objections for a franchise.
We hold a secured copy of the Franchise Disclosure Document for some franchisors on our site. This helps consultants make sure they are remaining consistent with what the FDD states. We can be held liable for any information given that is inconsistent with the FDD. If we do not have the FDD listed on the site, our attorneys can get you a copy of almost any FDD for your review. The great thing about having our legal department on hand is that if you need help reading it, understanding a section of it, or have any questions at all about it they will guide you through.
