FBA Certifications & Continued Advancement
We offer FBA certification programs to our members, these programs are extremely important to your professional success. We encourage continued education and believe that it is the pinnacle of growth and development in this industry. Certified Franchise Broker (CFB)
The goal of this certification program is to create a considerable competitive advantage when comparing a CFB consultant to a non-CFB consultant, by grossly increasing the knowledge base, professionalism and quality of consulting provided to a client. The program shall give a well rounded franchise education to its trainees including topics such as ethics, FTC sales compliance, understanding of in-depth due diligence and franchise research, understanding of the psychology of a franchise sale, the basics of funding as well as many other relevant concepts.
The program encourages collaboration, participation and involvement within this profession to stimulate the growth of not only the individual consultant but to the entire industry as a whole. Through doing this we endeavor to train consultants to be the top producers in the industry while maintaining impeccable professional standards.

FTC Compliance Training
The Franchise Sales Compliance Training Course (FSCTC) is a 3 hour course offered to mitigate the liability brokers and franchisors face regarding misrepresentation. This course will provide independent verification of compliance training for brokers and individuals on franchise sales teams. The FSCTC is designed to educate franchise sales person on the type of information they are legally able to disclose when they present a franchise, and to provide a standardized training program with consistent content.
The Federal Trade Commission requires all franchise sales persons to follow specific guidelines which each broker must also abide by. The function of the broker business itself affects the legal information necessary for franchisors’ compliance. Possessing this certification of completion on FTC Compliance training is very beneficial to you and the franchisors you represent and work with.
