Wake up to the smells of the Internet bustling with websites serving up fresh new content, that some end up going viral across so many of the social media channels where we spend so much of our time entertaining ourselves. From videos, to photos to newsworthy topics to blog articles about that dude and what he did and how we won’t believe what will happen next if we click on the “Read More” button!

In all cases, it’s easy to get the attention of users online with interesting and exciting original content. Nowadays, more and more people are talking about blogging and how important it is to your website to increase your site visitors. But how does it really do that and how do you start one anyway?

In summary, the Google landscape is changing and Google is continually evolving the way they show search results to online users. With so many SEO experts trying to trick Google’s algorithms so that their clients can gain top position on Google search results, Google is refocusing their attention towards providing their customers, online “searchers”, with search results that contain websites that feature more valuable and informative content.

With that said, most of the SEO tricks we practiced will soon die away and our focus as SEO experts will need to rely on creating good, original content – basically through blogging. Of course, there will be new ways to beat the new algorithms that are in place, but for the most part, at least for now, focusing on providing original content on your website will be the best thing you can do to try and get Google to notice your website so that it ranks high on Google searches, thus being found by search engines and your potential prospects.

To help get you started, during one of my CFB courses that I presented, I touched on some blog styles that are out there. Coming up with topics and subject matter is always the hardest part of starting any type of written work. I found this great feature online that shows 25 different blog styles that are out there. I personally use about 5 of the styles based on what I am comfortable with and you can do the same.
