What: Spark the Light: Franchise Leaders Think Tank

When: Thursday, February 1st, at 1-2:30 PM EST

Where: Zoom

Today, FBA Members will Spark the Light! By now, you will have seen the announcements regarding FBA Rising Stars and the Spark the Light event that coincides with this leadership program, in addition to connecting with your assigned Broker.

However…if you’re asking, what is Spark the Light? Well, it’s not too late to find out.

Spark the Light is a Franchise Leadership Immersion Event where we bring together a specialized group of Franchisors and Brokers to discuss franchise leadership topics and industry initiatives.

The intent of the program is for the participating franchise leaders to “spark the light in the franchise buyers they serve and help them fan the flickers of interest until their entrepreneurial embers become flames.” We do this through education, honesty, challenging fear, and tapping into potential – ours and our buyers.

For ALL FBA Franchise Brokers and Franchisors who attended our latest FBCE, this event is a commitment to shaping the future of franchising – so if you are among the few who haven’t responded to your Rising Star Broker regarding this event, please take action to do so!

As a participant, it’s important to note a few key aspects to ensure a smooth experience:

  • Accessing the Event: We ask that participants join the session through their web browsers rather than the Zoom app. This will necessitate logging in with your Zoom account, after which you will be directed to an ‘Intro and Logistics’ session. This initial segment is important for understanding the flow of the event and awaiting its commencement.
  • Engaging with Rising Star Brokers: Post ‘Intro and Logistics’, attendees will be directed to locate their designated Rising Star Broker in the panel of speakers. If you aren’t sure which Broker group you belong to, FBA Staff will be there to facilitate – however, you should have received outreach from your Rising Star prior to the event. Once in session, the group leader will facilitate a discussion with a format that provides a collaborative setting for meaningful conversations and networking.
  • Focus of the Event: Spark the Light emphasizes leadership and industry collaboration, steering clear of direct brand pitching. While franchising remains the backbone of discussions, the primary goal is to foster leadership qualities and build strong relationships within the association. Again, your assigned Broker will facilitate these leadership discussions.
  • Feedback and Future Interactions: Following the event, all participants will be invited to complete a survey to provide feedback on their experience. This input is vital for sustaining the momentum of effective franchising practices and shaping future FBA events.

See you soon, Members. We can’t wait to kick this off!
