tomasinosCongratulations to all the new franchise brokers who recently came through our training class.  They are new Franchise Brokers Association members who joined through the Franchise Training Institute’s initial training program and business opportunity.

These franchise brokers had an exciting class.  They were trained by Al Lesko, a top franchise consultant in the industry.  They went through real examples of existing clients in Al’s client list.  They got to meet the whole staff at the FBA. They went over their marketing plans and their website creation.  They even got to visit a local franchise in inventory and had dinner with them.  The franchise was called Tomasino’s Pizza.  Melanie Cook (Director of Quality Control & Continuous Improvement) and Mandy Baker (Broker Relations Manager) joined them for pizza and lots of laughs.

Here is some information about them:

Bob Carll – Maryland; Bob has an extensive background in marketing; started his own business dealing in online marketing. Bob was looking into purchasing a franchise potentially and then was introduced to franchise consulting. Bob had an interest in every industry and was truly exploring so many that he found the opportunity to sell franchises very interesting and is looking forward to using his marketing background to enhance his new business.

Left: Mark Shieh; Right: Mandy Baker

Mark Shieh – Los Angeles; Mark is currently operating a successful business in commercial real estate leasing. Mark is hoping to expand his current business by being able to introduce franchise opportunities to his clients. Mark is a current member of the IFA and is very excited that the FBA focuses so directly on franchise consulting; he is really looking forward to achieving his CFB as he currently is a CFE IFA member.

Norma Wyzukovicz –  Chicago/NY/Wisconsin; Norma is a business owner and enjoys running her businesses, yet would like to be able to run a new business strictly from home (initially).  Norma’s interests are in building relationships and helping people to achieve their dreams. Norma was very keen on receiving support for her new business and this is why she chose the FBA.

Dennis Sabia – Longwood, Fl; extensive sales and marketing for Fortune 100 companies. He developed himself to a corporate executive and founded his own payphone business. Dennis is also a restaurant guru and real estate professional that has opened and sold multiple businesses in each industry. Dennis is looking for something “new and exciting” and feels that franchise consulting is a perfect fit for his business background and lifestyle goals after retirement.

If you haven’t met these new franchise brokers yet on the Monday meetings, please take the time to reach out to them and welcome them to our community.
