If you missed our 6th Annual International Franchise Brokers Conference and Expo, don’t worry, there is always next year. During the event the FBA staff presented a little video to help demonstrate this year’s theme “The Whole Business”.  After showing the video we received several requests to have the video be made public on the blog. So by popular demand here it is!
Every year we all have such a great time hosting our Franchisors and Brokers here in Orlando.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to put faces to names, see old friends, and make new ones. Throughout this year’s event we focused on not only networking and expos but focusing on the individual’s mind, body, and spirit.
Surprise ZumbaWe presented this video to the conference on day two – Body Electric Tuesday. After this video we had a surprise Zumba workout which, quite honestly, I was sure would bomb.  I thought to myself there is just no way I can see a whole giant room of brokers and franchisors jumping up to do a quick workout.
I was surprised to see that, after a few tables immediately ran for the door, more than half the crowd was really getting into it! I felt that it really speaks to the types of individuals we have in our organization – fun and professional people who are smart and willing to try new things. Even if we surprise them with a challenge, they will try something new and unexpected in a room full of their peers.
Special recognition should be given to our own Darryl Jefferson for his incredible moves during this! We all had no idea! Also a big whole-istic thank you to our Event Coordinator Rachel Wyce! She did such a phenomenal job and worked so hard to put together all the little details of not only the Conference but the video as well.
As a whole we all really enjoyed putting this video together and incorporating it into our event. So have a look at our video and let us know what you think!

As a side note: Things did work out well for Sabrina and her second son, Colin. He was born October 6th, 2014 a healthy and happy baby.
