Memorial Day is a day of rest and remembrance of those soldiers who lost their lives in order to protect ours.  It is the ultimate sacrifice made for another person. Yet these are people who gave without even knowing the people they were giving for. I have a true respect and admiration for our military.  I think that they are the bravest and most giving people in the country.

I would like to express my gratitude to those fallen soldiers who fought for our freedom and protection.  I’m grateful for the life I have because they gave theirs.  I am committed to doing tremendous good with the life I have been given because those lives lost were not in vain.  They meant something and we as the people have a responsibility to honor and respect them.  We have a responsibility to be the best person we can be every day.  They deserve that from us.
