Productive Meetings are the Best

We were lucky enough to welcome board member Eric Riess to the FBA offices on Monday.  As always, meeting with Eric was a hoot and downright productive!  We brainstormed on the upcoming second half of 2010, strategic partnerships, programs for our members, our annual convention (which will be here in just 3 months) and building the Association.  We discussed the FBA website, Eric’s upcoming trainings and the Franchise Development contest.

So much has happened with the FBA over the first 2 quarters of the year, and it was exciting to recap and get prepared for what’s to come. Over the last six months, we’ve been fortunate enough to:

  • Grow to over 200 franchise broker and consultant members
  • Launch 2 brand new programs to feature our Franchisors and to provide residual revenue to our members
  • Add three new members to the FBA staff
  • Launch our blog and an overall PR campaign
  • Partner with an excellent new team called The Franchise Council to hold a Franchise Development Contest
  • Introduce a new Entrepreneur Roundtable program that commenced in Orlando, FL in April and will be traveling to Ft. Lauderdale in September

We’ll be conducting a full Board Member meeting within the month to discuss FBA planning for 2011 with the rest of the Board.
