Researching Franchising

Interested in buying a franchise?

It goes, almost, without saying that you need to research your options, do your due diligence and speak to professionals who can inform you of your upcoming investment.  With any major investment or business venture there are an overwhelming number of steps to take and considerations to make.  One of the first and best steps to take is to go to informational session.  Many FBA members host franchise information sessions such as “Entrepreneur Roundtables” “Intro to Franchise Investing” “Buying a Franchise 101” in their local areas.  These sessions will provide a brief overview of franchising, the pros and cons of the industry, the contacts and professionals that you need to be in touch with once you start seriously considering franchising, and how they — the franchise consultant or broker — can help you in your search.  Whether or not you decide to work with this, or any, franchise broker, an informational setting is a perfect place to get your feet wet, learn about the industry and network without pressure.

We’ll be attending an Entrepreneur Roundtable event in Ft Lauderdale on September 9th.
