Team Report While Away

I was on vacation last week at the Outer Banks, NC. My team held down the fort while I was away.  It’s a good thing, too, because I didn’t have internet there. Even the data on my cell phone didn’t work.  It was a weird experience to be totally disconnected, since I’m usually always checking my email and on the phone.

I got a text message from Melanie Cook letting me know that the team was doing great and everyone was chipping in to help one another. Then I got another message from Darryl Jefferson saying that they processed the first FranVest Management deals. Bill McKay and Pete Sorensen traveled to Miami to handle a high-level meeting with my partners and all reported that great things were happening.

I think that this vacation has made me the most proud of my team that I have ever been!  We have been developing leaders within the team, and last week they all shined. I’m grateful for them every day and can’t wait to see what else we can accomplish together.
