Hello again! It’s Chris back with another installment of our introduction to the new FBAMembers.com site! This week we’re discussing the new Resource Center. This was an area we admittedly really needed to work on. The trouble with our old system is that everything had to be added by..well me. It was also organized by having some documents on one page and others on another. Over time, we simply outgrew this method and it became increasingly more challenging to find what you wanted!
The other challenge we had to overcome was the speed at which we were able to import our video training’s. Previously, we had to manually convert each video then upload it to a remote server-then hand it off to me to upload to the site. Yikes. This simply has too many moving parts and was inefficient.
Fast forward to today….through countless hours of thought and effort we’ve created a very flexible system. One that improves the process for everyone involved. It is easier for us at the FBA to add new resources and dramatically improves the speed at which our training’s are added. At this point they can be added virtually right after they happen. The process for finding what your looking for is also improved because now instead of searching through pages you simply tell the site what you want and it goes and gets it for you.
In today’s Executive Mentoring Forum I was able to meet with around 50 of our consultants and show them these new features and answer their questions. Many had some great suggestions that we are already looking to implement. Everyone who attended will be given their login credentials and invited to come on in and join the fun!
