Can the FBA Team Escape a Locked Room in time for Christmas??

FBA Team at the Great Escape Room

It was time for the Holiday party, and an email went out explaining what we were going to do. There were strange looks on several people’s faces as they read. This certainly wasn’t going to be a typical party.
We had committed to being locked in a room to discover odd clues for elaborate puzzles with the goal of eventually finding the way out.
Say what?

Before...
Before…

It sounds strange I know, but to tell you the truth it was really fun! The FBA team brought their significant others and showed up at The Great Escape Room in downtown Orlando. After a few games of ping pong we split into two teams and were locked away. The goal to escape had to be completed in exactly one hour.
We are all very competitive and were not going to let that other team beat us. So we split into smaller groups and went to task. We were all really impressed with the level of difficulty some of these puzzles presented us! It really is a challenge to say the least. As the event wore on you could see each member of the team really working together and eventually solving each obstacle in our way.
I was really proud of my team and we worked so well together and tracked it down to the final door. This was our goal! We were almost free! So we worked and worked as the minutes wore down into seconds. Finally, we found it…THE KEY! Rushing to the doors release we popped in the code….and…..another puzzle.  Womp womp. Just then the final second ticked away and we didn’t make it after all.

After.
After.

Sabrina’s team, however, did make it out. Of course. I should have already known she’d figure out her room.  Congrats Sabrina!
Well, at least I could look forward to our dinner and drinks with our team downtown. Thanks to Amy (Jim really) for my Secret Santa gift at the Colosseum of Comics!
