#5. Big Frogs beginnings and it’s founders

Big Frog’s three founders all met when they worked together making scientific instruments. That’s right, the people who made 1-minute customizable t-shirts available to the masses started out as scientists. After making scientific instruments for a few years, they switched to science-based gifts and novelties. When they wanted to add t-shirts to their inventory, the three friends ran into a wall.

Screen printing companies were requiring a minimum of 100 t-shirt per design. And our three scientist friends had come up with nearly 100 designs! They were looking at an enormous amount of money up front just to get an inventory! Fortunately, the trio heard about Direct to Garment printing and realized it was exactly what they needed to get their witty scientific sloganed t-shirts to the public.

They also realized that with the DTG printing, they could offer their customers the chance to come up with their own slogans and images!
